6) AI outputs; your responsibility

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating Outputs before using them, including evaluating security, correctness, and license compliance.

Outputs are not professional advice (including legal, security, compliance, or financial advice).

Outputs may be similar to content generated for other users. We do not guarantee that Outputs are unique.

7) Your content; permissions we need

7.1 You retain ownership

You retain your rights in Inputs.

7.2 License to operate the Service

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, store (including storing encrypted Conversation History), process, reproduce, and create derivative works of Inputs solely to provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including:

  • generating Outputs from Inputs,
  • storing and displaying Conversation History,
  • preventing abuse and enforcing these Terms, and
  • complying with law.

7.3 Outputs

To the extent we have any rights in Outputs, we assign to you our rights in those Outputs so you can use them, subject to these Terms and applicable law. This does not grant you any rights in the Service, our software, or our underlying systems.

7.4 You are responsible for Inputs

You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to submit Inputs and grant the license above.

8) Third-party model providers; backend routing

The Service may use third-party AI/model providers (which may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, open-source models via Google Vertex, and/or OpenRouter).

When you use AI features, some Inputs (and derived prompt content) may be sent to such providers to generate Outputs.

Even if you supply your own model API key, requests still go through our backend because we perform final prompt building and orchestration.

9) Fees; subscriptions; no refunds

If you purchase a Subscription, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

Plan details, pricing, and any usage limits are described on our pricing page (currently available at https://theorql.com/en/pricing) and/or at checkout. theorql

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment.

10) Suspension; termination

We may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or in part) immediately if we reasonably believe:

  • you violated these Terms,
  • your use poses a security risk or could harm the Service or others, or
  • we must do so to comply with law.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that Outputs will meet your requirements.

12) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS/REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
